Present: Jay Erickson, Bob Caranicas, Ivy Schulz, Darcy Meide, Tammy Kruger, Jesse Stiller, Jennifer Hoeft, Josh Lauritsen

  1. Old Business

    1. Approval of Minutes from March: Jennifer approved the minutes, Josh seconded the minutes.

    2. Youth Room – Meeting Wednesday, April 11

      IKEA trip did not happen.

      Pool table bids. Sold for $250.

    3. Lenten Meals

      4. Lessons Learned

      Defrost soup early. Soup was from GFG. The soup was down to the last slurp, we could use more soup. We can order 1 ˝ cases vs. 1 case. Use roaster bags for the soup for easier cleanup.

      Desserts were gone early

      Juice mix, can get from GFG also

    4. Gymnastics day went well. 12:30-2:00 was a good time slot.

      5. III. New Business

      1. Youth ministry – Combined Signature Home Styles/Tastefully Simple sales between services on April 29 for the Milwaukee mission trip. 10% of sales will go to the mission trip. Jennifer made the motion to approve, Tammy seconded the motion.

      2. Sonshine Festival – Wilmar, MN Thursday, July 12- Friday, July14. Tickets are $63 each. This is a camping event, it would be good to have somebody organize this.

        Selling May Baskets as a Fund Raiser. Needs help with this for the next two Sundays.

        Need a Female volunteer go to Milwaukee, she is unable to attend

      4. Upcoming Events

        Valley Fair, not going to plan one this year.

      5. For the June meeting we should do something fun for a board meeting, possibly at Ivy’s or another location.

      6. The May meeting will be Tuesday, May 8 at 7:00 PM.

      7. Josh made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Tammy seconded the motion.
